We recruit our volunteers from all walks of life and all backgrounds.
To ensure the safety of our clients, all volunteers are required to attend the necessary training/orientation sessions and complete a volunteer application package. St. Luke’s screens all applicants by performing criminal background checks, DMV checks, personal reference and medical checks. Once this screening process is completed and all the information cleared, a volunteer is matched with a client based on common interest and background.
